Problem and environment
The operational context the technician should recognize.
Problem
Receiving cannot print asset labels because the label printer is offline, stuck after a media change, or reporting a path error.
Environment
Warehouse label station, Zebra desktop printer, asset receiving workflow.
Technician resolution
Internal operational procedure.
Open the printer cover, reseat the label roll, clean the sensor path, confirm the driver points to the warehouse print queue, then run a Windows test page before retrying OpsPortal labels.
Internal notes
If this recurs more than twice in a week, replace the label roll spindle and review print server event logs before replacing the printer.
